Product details of dragon’s breath immortal lighter
- The top cover of the dragon’s breath immortal lighter
Tightly closed screw to prevent kerosene from flowing out.
- Ignition rod
This ignition rod is also retro-style. It is ignited by friction and lasts for a long time.
- The bottom of the lighter
The anti-slip design can effectively prevent the lighter hand from slipping off during ignition.
Usage Method
Step 1: First, fill the lighter with oil, do not spill over by adding too much oil, and then tighten the cover; (since flammable oil cannot be shipped, you need to buy kerosene for the lighter by yourself)
Step 2: Before the first ignition, you need to try to rub and slide several times to make the protective wax on the ignition rod’s head fall off.
Step 3: After the protective wax falls off, you can use the ignition stick to rub and slide to light a fire gently.
Step 4: Don’t burn the cotton core for more than 10 seconds. Please extinguish the flame when the cotton core is red.

Warning and Disclaimer
- Take caution when handling this lighter.
- The fire created cannot be put out by shaking the rod or blowing on it.
- It can only be put out by placing the rod back into the holster.
Note:
1. Shipping flammable liquids are illegal, so these lighters are empty. But our Immortal lighter works with almost anything – lighter fluid, kerosene, ethanol, and even gasoline!
This product does not contain kerosene oil. Therefore, it would be best if you bought it yourself.
2. After using the dragon’s breath immortal lighter for a while, the internal fuel has been consumed. Please replenish fuel in time.
3.Under normal circumstances, there is a 60%-70 probability that you will ignite a match, and you can reach an 80%-90% probability when you are proficient. For people who have never used a lighter before, it is difficult to ignite at first if they do not master the strength and angle. Still, after much practice, the average person can reach a 50% probability of igniting.
4.The dragon’s breath immortal lighter is fired by striking flint and the match stick’s front end to produce friction and sparks to ignite the cotton core. It requires gasoline or kerosene. However, the amount of fuel used is minimal.
Other considerations:
1. Please put the dragon’s breath immortal lighter in a dry place to avoid moisture;
2. Please put the lighter out of children’s reach to avoid accidents;
3. When using a lighter, do not approach your face;
4. Do not place the dragon’s breath immortal lighter in a high-temperature place to avoid deflagration.

Hi, Tallou
Thanks for your comment. Your comment is the first real reader’s comment on our website, which means a lot.
How often do you need to replace the cotton and what is the best way to refill both kerosene and cotten
Hi, Robert
The time to trim or replace the cotton core depends on the frequency of your use.
The method of trimming or replacing the cotton core is simple:
1. Use tools (such as pliers) to pull out the cotton core;
2. Use scissors to trim the head of the old cotton core (if it has not been used up);
3. Prepare a new cotton core and insert it into the matchstick. If the head is too short, try to use pliers to pull it out (if you want to replace a new cotton thread).
When refilling kerosene, use conventional methods to drop a few milliliters of kerosene from the top of the dragon’s breath immortal lighter (about a few drops can be used usually).
I hope my reply is helpful to you:)
Can you use lamp oil instead of kerosene?
Hello Vic.
I’m sorry that I have never used lamp oil as the fuel for Dragon’s Breath Immortal Lighter. I want to discuss with you the feasibility of using lamp oil:
1. Lamp oil usually refers to liquid paraffin. It belongs to the same chemical family as kerosene, but it has been purified to make it burn more cleanly. In theory, lamp oil can be used as fuel for reusable matches.
2. The flash point of kerosene is 200 Degrees F (or higher), while the flash point of kerosene is about 150 Degrees F. The actual fire point is always higher than the flash point, which means it is easier to ignite if you use kerosene.
If you choose to use the lamp oil, you may encounter the situation: before you are proficient, each friction ignition chance will be relatively small. Of course, everything should be subject to actual experiments (I think I also need to do a little test).
Therefore, under normal circumstances, we recommend that it is better to use kerosene as the fuel for this Dragon’s Breath Immortal Lighter.
Hope it helps:)
Cab you use arosole can butain to fill dragon breath lighter?
Hi, Cindy
I am afraid that the fuel you mentioned may not work.
You’d better use the liquid fuels recommended in our blog.
Safety comes first??
I used gasoline but it still doesn’t work. It just sparks and doesn’t ignite.
Hi, Jesse
Glad to read your comment.
Based on the situation you described, I will explain as follows:
1. When you use Dragon’s Breath Immortal Lighter, it is true that it is not 100% lit every time. This is normal;
2. We analyze the fuel you use. It is entirely possible to light a match with gasoline, and we have exact test results. If the fuel you are using is gasoline, the type of fuel selected is correct, but not the most ideal. In contrast, the more ideal fuel is kerosene. The main reason is that gasoline is more volatile than kerosene, and it is easier to volatilize in a period when exposed to air. Therefore, when you use gasoline as fuel and leave it idle for a period of time, the fuel volatilizes, which may cause you to be unable to ignite normally (the flammability of gasoline reduced).
3. We have also met some customers in a similar situation to yours, sometimes just because they are not yet used to Dragon’s Breath Immortal Lighter’s friction ignition method. After trying different forces or angles of friction, they successfully ignited. You can also try again. We believe you can successfully ignite this lighter.
We hope the above content is helpful to you and look forward to your follow-up feedback.
How much lighter fluid do you put in the dragon lighter?
Hi, Connie
Generally, it is appropriate to inject approximately 5ML of kerosene fuel into Dragon’s Breath Immortal Lighter at one time.
Will I need to replace the flint strip?
Hi, Kathy
In general, you do not need to replace the flint strip. The flint strips are durable. Also, we do not provide individually replaceable flint accessories.
If your flint bar breaks down under special circumstances, we suggest you better replace a new Dragon’s Breath Immortal Lighter.
Can fondue fuel be used?
Hi, Beth
Thanks for your comment.
Because fondue fuel belongs to butane fuel, standard disposable lighters and other reusable lighters often use butane fuel. These lighters have good airtightness of the stored fuel, so the fuel hardly volatilizes or volatilizes slowly.
However, Dragon’s Breath Immortal Lighter is different from the traditional lighters that use butane fuel. It uses a non-closed fuel storage design and the fuel is often exposed to the air, so it’s better to choose some weaker volatile liquid fuels. For example, kerosene fuel.
If you insist on using fondue fuel as the fuel of the Dragon’s Breath Immortal Lighter, you may be able to ignite it, but you may face a situation where the fuel evaporates quickly, and the fuel may not be durable.
The flint came out inside my husbands lighter, I got it out but the wick is now stuck at the bottom. How do i get it out?
Hi, Bobbie
According to your description, I want to know whether the wick was stuck at the bottom of the lighter fuel storage space or the matchstick’s bottom.
1. First, empty the fuel in the lighter;
2. I think you may need to replace a smaller suitable tool by taking out the wick stuck at the bottom (for example, a thinner iron hook?). Otherwise, the ignition rod cannot be tightened clockwise when inserting the Dragon’s Breath Immortal Lighter;
3. If you successfully take out the wick, please check whether the flint and the wick at the front of the ignition rod are firmly installed before next use.
I hope you can successfully fix this problem and look forward to your follow-up feedback.
In addition, the wick at the front of the ignition rod of Dragon’s Breath Immortal Lighter will be consumed normally during use. When trimming the lighter’s wick, we recommend using a pliers tool to remove the flint on the head and then pull out some appropriately Unused wick at the rear end.
